Salcombe is about 30 minutes from the A38 dual carriageway between Exeter and Plymouth. It takes just under an hour to get from Salcombe to Exeter, under two hours to Bristol and three hours to Heathrow.
Trains go direct from London to Totnes (3 hour journey, running every 1-2 hours) from where it is about 30 minutes by road to Salcombe.
